In the Beginning..

Alyssa and Alex met in January 2022 in the chaos of online dating. Alex was convinced he wouldn't ever find anyone worthwhile on the sites.. That was until Alyssa liked his image! Their friendship blossomed for weeks online while they vetted each other. Alex invited her to a hockey game via a 60 min car ride.. They decided it was wise to meet first - at what would become a regular hangout, The Lazy Dog.

Mere Mortals:

They were both in a transitionary period in their lives. Alyssa had left hospitality permanently (allegedly) and returned to school to complete a Masters degree. Alex had just left Agriculture (sort-of!). There were many questions and loose ends to manage!

Unexpected Realities

You get what you need? Although opposites, Alyssa and Alex found in each other what they were missing.Much more than they asked for (if we're being honest). Alyssa longed for more adventure (beyond daily 10 mileruns) - she got a reckless man fresh off Agriculture rules.Alex searched for a companion to match his wittiness - often left speechless by Alyssa's own wit!

The Happy Road

Sometimes things are easy.Alyssa and Alex expanded under each others support. They learned to love bigger - themselves, each other, and their lives. They grew, they conquered, they built a life together.

We're Here!

After 4 years, Alyssa and Alex are here to celebrate their commitment to each other with friends and family. Their life together wouldn't be the same without their friends and family. We can't wait for you to join us on our day of celebration! Come hungry, leave happy!

Dress Code

Wait, I didn’t see a ceremony time. Am I missing something?You’re right where you need to be! We’ve chosen to exchange our vows in a very intimate ceremony with our immediate families earlier in the day. We can’t wait to kick off the full celebration with all of our favorite people starting at 5 PM in Arvada!

Where should I park?Since we are celebrating in a residential backyard, parking is available along the street. However, we highly recommend using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft so you can enjoy the evening (and our open bar!) safely and without having to worry about finding a spot.

What is "Garden Party Glam" attire?We want to see your most vibrant, colorful, and glamorous summery looks! Think flowy dresses in bright hues, bold floral patterns, and smart blazers. We want you to feel dressed up and fabulous, but also comfortable enough to celebrate outdoors.

What about my shoes?Great question! The reception is being held entirely on a lawn. To keep you from sinking into the grass, we strongly suggest block heels, wedges, or sandals. Your stilettos will thank you for staying home!
